Pre-Care Instructions

Please read and understand the pre-care instructions before you book an appointment to ensure you do not have any contraindications to the procedure you wish to have. You will be required to sign a form indicating that you do not have any contraindications. If you do not adhere to the pre-care instructions, and then it is determined during your session that you are not a good candidate for the procedure, you will be charged a $150 fee for the loss of the Artist's time.

  • I understand that if I am diabetic, I must have a doctor's note in order to have a procedure.

  • I understand that if I am pregnant or nursing, I must have a doctor's note in order to have a procedure.

  • I understand that if I take blood thinners and/or steroids, I must have a doctor's note in order to have a procedure.

  • I understand that I cannot take aspirin or ibuprofen within 3 days of having a procedure.

  • I understand that I cannot take fish oils within 1 week of having a procedure.

  • I understand that I cannot use glycolic or retinol within 1 week of having an eyebrow procedure.

  • I understand that I cannot have chemical peels or laser treatments within 4 weeks of having a procedure.

  • I understand I cannot be sunburn on my face on the day of my appointment.

  • I understand that I cannot have any caffeine on the day of my appointment.

  • I understand that I cannot have any alcohol within 24 hours of my appointment.

  • I understand that I cannot have any facial waxing or tinting within 7 days of my appointment.

  • I understand that I cannot have Botox within 2 weeks of having an eyebrow or eyeliner procedure.

  • I understand that I cannot have lip filler within 2 weeks of having a lip procedure.

  • I understand that if I have ever had severe cases of cold sores or fever blisters I need to get a prescription from my doctor and start medication 5 days before my appointment and continue for 5 days after my appointment, as a lip procedure may cause a flare up.

  • I understand that my lips should be thoroughly hydrated prior to a lip procedure to avoid any trauma. I will start using a lip ointment or Aquaphor 1 week prior to my appointment. I will also gently exfoliate my lips the night before my procedure.

  • I will remove any false eyelashes before having an eyeliner procedure.
